Thrift Goes A Long Way…One Pound At A Time

About

Wondering what Buy The Pound is or how it works?  The concept is simple!

Several bins will be placed on the floor.  The bins will have toys, clothing, shoes and housewares in them.  As a treasure hunter, you will hunt through the bins looking for the best finds.

The bins will rotate frequently so that you can find fresh merchandise.   We will even have music, books and larger items.  Since we have fresh items coming out on a regular basis, you can come and stay all day.  We do have a customer lounge with refreshments as well.

When you have loaded your carts with treasures, head up to the register.  We will weigh your clothes, toys, housewares etc. at the register.  Shoes will be weighed separately.  Book and media will be counted individually. Cash and cards will be accepted at the register (no checks).   Please note that the cart weight is NOT included in your total.

Our customers told us they not only like to bin shop, but also like being able to choose clothing, toys and other items, individually too! If bin shopping is not your thing, we’ve recently added a section of our store has items that you can pay for individually. Find things like furniture, clothing on hangers, toys and more. Each item is priced as marked (not shown in video below).

(Note: we have extended our hours since this video was taken)

Since Buy The Pound is owned by the Disabled American Veterans, you are giving back while you shop!

We accept Debit, credit and cash (no checks).

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 9pm.  Please be sure to like us on Facebook and watch our webpage for more info!

See you soon for some great treasure hunting!
